Main Duties:

  • Demonstrate daily leadership skills to build and support the inventory and merchandising team.
  • Lead daily walks on the floor with area managers and area owners to assure all standards are followed (In stock, price and promotions are tagged properly, assure daily action plan is ready for the team, train to improve team knowledge and assure cleanliness for customers)
  • Audit company standards to assure procedures conformity in Inventory management.
  • Sales oriented, he or she has the ability to make the merchandise attractive and easy to shop for customers in order to fulfill purchaser needs.
  • Ability to organize daily clerical tasks effectively (Payworks forms, hiring forms, statutory change, e-mails, action plans.)
  • Communicate and collaborate work with head office and other retail stores.
  • Perform monthly benchmark to stay ahead of the competition.

Requirements

Supervisory Responsibilities:

    • Train and direct the merchandising staff for product merchandising and labeling.
    • Keep employees motivated and on-task.
    • Track and manage team performances.
