HVAC Technician

**Job Title: HVAC Technician****Job Description**The HVAC Technician will be responsible for reading, interpreting, and executing drawings, schematics, and blueprints, as well as overseeing the installation, repair, overhaul, and maintenance of refrigeration and air conditioning systems and their component parts.**Responsibilities**Review blueprints and building codes to determine work details and procedures.Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning systems and components.Assist with the design of multi-head VRF systems.Create detailed material lists from drawings and site layouts.Start and commission systems, test lines for leaks, and record readings.Direct apprentices on the installation of piping systems.Keep records of assignments and produce detailed work reports.Diagnose and fix unit malfunctions by replacing or repairing controls, electric wiring, or other parts.Comply with industry standards, safety manuals, and safety rules.**Essential Skills**3+ years of HVAC service experience within commercial, institutional, or high-rise settings.Journeyperson Red Seal Ticket.Service HVAC experience.Ability to get to the site.Clean driving record.Good communication skills.**Additional Skills & Qualifications**Gasfitter B ticket.More years of experience.Good leadership skills.Eager to learn.Pride in work.Reliability.**Why Work Here?**Employees enjoy union rates and participate in company events such as golf tournaments, soccer teams, and holiday parties. Due to the nature of tenant improvements (TI), some work may occur outside business hours when noise is involved.
