Based in Mitchell, Ontario , near Stratford, we are a Health Canada–licensed, FDA–approved, and HACCP–certified facility known for quality, compliance, and long-term career stability. We are currently seeking a resourceful, detail-oriented individual for a new Process & Equipment Engineer position on our Operations Team. Work Arrangement: On-site position — reliable daily commuting or relocation prior to starting is required. Please note housing availability in the Mitchell area is limited. Candidates considering relocation are encouraged to plan accordingly. Position Summary The Process & Equipment Engineer will play a hands-on role in supporting production operations, leading equipment qualifications, computer system validations, and process improvement projects. The ideal candidate combines strong troubleshooting ability with a continuous improvement mindset and a practical understanding of manufacturing systems. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot and resolve process or equipment issues within production to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations. Lead and document equipment qualifications (IQ/OQ/PQ) and computer system validations in compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with the Production Director and Maintenance Supervisor on special projects and improvements. Provide input on the design, layout, and setup of new production or facility areas. Support the development, testing, and implementation of new processes or equipment. Maintain accurate records of equipment performance, validation activities, and process changes. Ensure compliance with internal quality systems, safety procedures, and applicable regulations. Qualifications & Skills Post-secondary education in engineering technology , industrial maintenance, or a related technical field (degree or diploma). 5+ years of experience in a production, manufacturing, or maintenance environment. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with both equipment and processes. Experience with equipment qualification and/or computer system validation preferred. Working knowledge of project support, facility design, or process improvement initiatives. Ability to work cross-functionally with Production, Maintenance, and Quality teams. Strong organizational and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; exposure to computerized maintenance management systems CMMS software is an asset. Why Join BAM?
