Why join the team Team of 6 (DVM, HM, VA's and CSR's) We see dogs, cats, exotics and farm animals (except cows and horses) We practice Fear‑Free Ultra sound, hot cutting laser, cold laser, digital x‑ray (dental too), fluid pumps and warmer, pulse ox, water blanket warmer, bear huggers, anesthesia monitoring devices Current DVM does a mix of surgeries. Including soft tissue, reproductive, splenectomies/GDVs, c‑sections, advanced dentistry and orthopedic This is a great area, small city located next to the Choptank river, near farm land and only an hour and a half from Ocean City MD Schedule Full‑Time or Part‑Time Flexible on scheduling Hours of Operation Mon: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm Tue: 8:00 am - 8:00 pm Wed: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm Thu/Fri: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Sat/Sun: Closed Cases Patient mix 50% wellness and sick 30% urgent/walk‑in's 20% emergencies Who we look for People obsessed with pets and their care Dedicated experts who want to provide world‑class medicine Collaborators who enjoy teaching others and working as a team Curious lifelong learners who want to grow and thrive for a dynamic and fulfilling career Empathetic partners who develop strong client and Associate relationships built on trust Total Rewards As a member of the VCA family, eligible full‑time employees will be rewarded with a comprehensive package, including: Compensation The annual salary range for this position is $140k - $160k, dependent on experience. Salary is negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities and other relevant credentials. Salary range listed is based on a 40 hour work week. This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.
