Position Summary Family Physician – All Nations Healing House About Us The First Nations Health Authority (FNHA) is a diverse and transformational health organization that partners with BC First Nations to support self‑determination and improve health outcomes. Title and Contract Title: Family Physician Contract: Clinical Service Contract up to a 1.0 FTE (typically 1680 hours a year) Location All Nations Healing House – Williams Lake, BC Salary and Incentives The salary range follows the 2024‑25 Physician Master Agreement, with a 12.32% annual Rural Retention Program premium and additional incentives as eligible. FNPCI Initiative The First Nations‑led Primary Care Initiative (FNPCI) seeks to improve access to primary health‑care services for First Nations people in culturally safe, community‑based settings. The initiative is part of the province’s primary care strategy, integrating team‑based care across BC and creating primary care networks in partnership with Regional Health Authorities. About the Centre The All Nations Healing House provides culturally safe, trauma‑informed primary health care for unattached First Nations and Indigenous people and their families. It serves the Williams Lake area and 15 communities of the Secwépemc, Tsilhqot’in, and Dakelh Dené Nations. The centre operates Monday to Friday (excluding statutory holidays) during regular business hours. About the Role The Family Physician will be the primary provider for a client panel and will collaborate within a team‑based environment that supports Western and Traditional Wellness approaches. A minimum panel size of approximately 650 patients per 1.0 FTE is expected by year 3 and will be confirmed in the clinical service contract. Responsibilities The Family Physician will practice with cultural humility, providing primary care in a culturally safe, team‑based environment that addresses physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of client and family care. Work will be in compliance with BC health and wellness regulations and standards. About You You are passionate about supporting First Nations individuals and families on their health and wellness journeys. You hold an active practicing licence in good standing with the College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC). You have training in Cultural Safety & Humility, or you are willing to pursue this training. Ideally you have experience working with First Nations people and communities, providing culturally safe care. You possess a current valid driving licence.
