Impact You’ll Make in this Role As a Product Engineer for R&D in Banska, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Key Responsibilities Providing technical leadership and product engineering support for an assigned core product fall protection portfolio and maintaining design control for assigned products. Leading and supporting cross‑functional product improvement projects that accelerate business growth and enhance our competitive position. Leading and overseeing change management related to product design changes driven by product and quality improvements, supply changes, regulatory requirements, and cost reduction. Driving continuous improvement using methodologies such as PMP, Six Sigma, DOE/statistical analysis. Serving as an effective team leader and collaborator, embracing diversity and multi‑cultural global collaboration. Qualifications To set you up for success from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements: Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in mechanical engineering. Past experience in R&D. Language skills: proficiency in Slovak and communicative English. Key skill: project management. Additional knowledge that could help you succeed includes: Drafting (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo). Manufacturing or production process improvement. Mechanical design. Experience with fall protection standards. Job Specifics Location: Banska, Slovakia. Work model: full‑time, on‑site at the Banska plant at least four days a week. Travel: up to 5% domestic/international. Relocation: Not authorized. Remuneration: 1,800–2,700 Euro gross per month, depending on skills and experience, plus an excellent benefits package.
