As a trusted advisor, you’ll provide expertise to empower Indigenous communities, organizations, businesses and individuals in navigating a dynamic social, political and economic environment. You’ll work closely with community partners to co-create solutions that reflect Indigenous values, priorities, and long-term goals. This is a dynamic opportunity to apply your financial expertise in a meaningful, community-driven context. This opportunity is available in the following locations across Canada: Toronto, Timmins, and Thunder Bay. Key Responsibilities Lead economic development initiatives with Indigenous communities, including feasibility studies, business planning, and funding strategies Develop and interpret financial models to support capital planning, infrastructure investment, and long-term sustainability Identify innovative ways to deliver added value to clients; ensure needs are met and relationships grow and develop Support proposal development, client engagement, and business development activities Maintain high quality control and apply specialized knowledge to anticipate, identify and address issues or key risks relevant to the client’s business Network in the local business community, consider business development opportunities Mentor, motivate and coach team members towards professional and personal development Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary Qualifications 7+ years of experience in economic development, finance/accounting, financial modeling, or consulting Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Indigenous Studies, or a related field CPA, CFA, and strong financial acumen considered an asset Experience working with Indigenous communities or organizations Demonstration of advanced project management skills and tactics Proven people management, relationship building and leadership skills With a focus on high-potential earnings, MNP is proud to offer customized rewards that support our unique culture and a balanced lifestyle to thrive at work and outside of the office.
