Display IP Validation Engineer

Job Description: Requirement/Must Have FPGA and hardware emulation platforms experience for pre-silicon debug. Knowledge of video encode/decode hardware. Understanding of display driver hardware pipeline. Knowledge of GPU hardware architecture and graphics rendering pipeline. Familiarity with power management and power states. Strong programming/scripting skills (Python, C/C++, Ruby). Experience in system design development across entire product lifecycle. Expertise in hardware architecture and systems design. Ability to isolate and debug issues in Display IP during pre-silicon, bring-up, validation, and production phases. Experience 2–4 years relevant experience in pre- and post-silicon validation of IP. 3–6 years experience in the semiconductor industry. Experience with IP/System level bring-up, SOC debug techniques and methodologies. Experience with BIOS, OS, and driver-level interactions. Experience with common lab equipment, computer hardware, and networks. Led process improvement initiatives to enhance engineering quality. Responsibilities Participate in systems design development throughout entire product lifecycle. Lead technical presentations and collaborate with design, software, and tools teams. Define testing and debug methodologies to maximize coverage and customer experience. Work with program leadership to define end‑to‑end plans and address risks. Mentor and lead operation teams, fostering a collaborative culture. Define and execute validation strategies, feature enablement, and unit test plans. Conduct root cause analysis and resolution on technical issues. Drive technical innovations in validation capabilities, tools, and methodology enhancements. Should Have Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Self‑starter attitude and ability to drive tasks independently. Strong organizational skills and multitasking capability. Personal passion for computer gaming and performance optimization. Skills In‑depth knowledge of SOC architecture and concepts. Strong technical leadership and mentoring abilities. Knowledge of standard power management features and use‑cases. Hands‑on experience with pre‑silicon emulation and debug.
