Their Data Center and mission-critical group is now scaling rapidly across the US and Canada, and they’re looking for a Director of Construction who can operate at a high level while staying close enough to the work to influence outcomes directly. The Role You’ll oversee multiple Data Center builds and Mission-Critical programs at once, guiding regional teams and acting as the senior operational lead on the ground. This isn’t a role buried in layers of bureaucracy, a huge hierarchy or no upwards mobility, as you’ll work directly with the executive group, shape construction strategy for North America, and have the authority to move quickly when it counts. What Makes This Position Different You’re part of the leadership circle. You’ll have a direct line to the COO and global mission‑critical leads. Decisions move fast, the business is structured so senior leaders stay close to project realities, not insulated from them. You’ll be trusted to apply your technical judgement, not micromanaged. They rely on their Directors to set standards and steer delivery. The company has an established global presence, so you’re not building the foundation from scratch - you’re scaling a proven model across North America. Core Responsibilities Lead construction delivery across multiple large‑scale Data Center and Mission‑Critical projects Maintain oversight of schedules, cost performance, risk, procurement, and commissioning Guide project teams and ensure consistency with global technical and delivery frameworks Strengthen client relationships and act as a senior escalation point Support regional growth plans, including team development and market expansion initiatives Bring clarity and direction in fast‑moving, MEP‑heavy environments What You Bring Extensive leadership experience delivering major construction programs, ideally with a strong Data Center or Mission‑Critical background Deep technical understanding of MEP systems, commissioning processes, and the realities of fast‑track builds A track record of running multiple teams while staying close enough to the projects to keep them on course Strong stakeholder management skills with both clients and executive leadership Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field Why Now?
