The Reinsurance and Budget, Corporate Actuarial Services team is seeking candidates for a senior actuarial advisor position in property and casualty insurance. You will play an influential leadership role in managing reinsurance activities and annual budget planning for Desjardins General Insurance Group. Responsibilities Conduct analyses to anticipate financial results, support strategic planning and manage the reinsurance program for all relevant products and provinces, ensuring data integrity. Develop and maintain various models, analyze results and produce reports required by the organization or regulators. Ensure actuarial services needs are met. Develop innovative solutions to improve the organization’s risk management practices. Contribute to continuous improvement activities within the team. Provide guidance and support to new team members. Represent actuarial services in committees and decision‑making meetings. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics or a related field. Minimum of six years of relevant property and casualty insurance experience (other combinations may be considered). Successfully completed at least six Casualty Actuarial Society exams, or the equivalent. Strong communication skills in both French and English, orally and in writing. Knowledge of property and casualty insurance, Microsoft Office, SAS, VBA, R, Python. Benefits Competitive salary and annual bonus. 4 weeks of flexible vacation starting in the first year.
