About the role: Location: Remote-first (United States; BC & ON, Canada) Full-time Permanent Exempt The cash compensation for this role is tailored to align with the cost of labor in different geographic markets. We've structured the base pay ranges for this role into zones for our geographic markets, and the specific base pay within the range will be determined by the candidate’s geographic location, job‑related experience, knowledge, qualifications, and skills. United States (all figures cited below are in USD and pertain to workers in the United States) Zone A $150,00 - $207,100 Zone B $141,600 - $194,800 Zone C $132,100 - $182,400 Canada (figures cited below are in CAD and pertain to workers in ON & BC, Canada) $171,000 - $235,600 Reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager This role is also eligible to participate in Webflow's company-wide bonus program. Build performant, accessible, and scalable user interfaces using TypeScript, React, Next.js, Jest, Storybook, and Webflow’s Spring Design System. Own features end-to-end from design handoff through implementation, launch, and iteration — ensuring a polished, user‑centric experience at every stage. Partner closely with design, product, and engineering teams to deliver user‑centric features, optimize performance, and ensure seamless user experiences. Drive improvements to the frontend + backend codebase and introduce best practices around accessibility, performance, maintainability, and scalability. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with urgency, clarity, and a focus on delivering reliable and resilient experiences. Mentor junior engineers, fostering their growth in frontend technologies (with exposure to backend fundamentals) and instilling best practices in scalable, maintainable code. Stay current with emerging frontend frameworks, tooling, and trends. Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve development workflows and enhance user interfaces. About you: BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience Have 5+ years of experience as a frontend/UI engineer with some backend exposure, and a proven track record of shipping high‑quality features to production.
