As part of the Engine team you will be building new features, continuing to improve existing features and functionality, integration with existing Magnet products, cross-team collaboration, and much more. You will focus on thin slicing and delivering iteratively, and work with the team to effectively deliver with quality. Please note: The role will be a hybrid of remote work and in office for candidates in a commutable distance to our Waterloo and Ottawa offices. We have a flexible working arrangement. What You Will Accomplish Communicate and collaborate with direct team members as well as the engineering org to drive innovation; Analyze requirements, break down tasks, estimate efforts; Design and implement robust, performant, maintainable and testable code; Adapt to changes as they arise from business & customer needs; Be an active team member with fellow talented developers and software testers; Provide technical leadership without a formal reporting structure within the team and across teams; Help support the work of your peers by pair programming, reviewing and providing mentoring; Accountable and take ownership of your projects. Required Skills Minimum of 5+ years of relevant professional experience; Strong and proficient in object‑oriented programming (C#, C++, Java); Strong problem‑solving skills; Experience with Agile Development Practices; Ability to work and collaborate effectively with a distributed team. Nice To Have Skills Proficiency in C# .NET; Experience providing technical leadership with peers and stakeholders; Experience with AI tools in a development environment; Demonstrated presentation skills and team communication skills.
