As a locum in our regional tertiary centre, you’ll manage everything from chronic conditions to acute crises, and from advanced geriatric care to emergency trauma. You will serve the varied needs of a richly diverse population, including Indigenous communities who have called this land home since time immemorial, as well as new Canadians beginning their lives in our country. As a locum at RIH, you’ll be part of a dedicated team pursuing top‑tier patient care. Qualfications You’ll hold, or be eligible for, licensure with The College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC). You’ll have current Certification with the College of Family Physicians (CCFP). At RIH, you must have coverage with the Canadian Medical Protective Association in order to practice medicine. If you trained in the US, hold ABMS board certification in internal medicine, and are already authorized to work in Canada, you are invited to apply for a locum.
