Based out of our Powell Service Division, an Engineering Supervisor oversees and coordinates the activities of a team of engineers and designers. They are responsible for managing projects, allocating resources, providing technical guidance and support, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and evaluating team performance. Additionally, they may collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to develop and implement engineering strategies and initiatives. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential for success in this role. Supervision Electrical Engineers and Designers and the Mechanical Team Lead and their Designers Essential Responsibilities Manage work schedules and adapt easily to change. Creating standards while looking for efficiencies in cost, quality, and delivery. Work leader responsibilities may include task assignment, performance feedback, on-the-job training,directing lower-level engineering personnel to appropriate sources of information, products, vendors, etc. Directs lower-level engineering personnel to appropriate sources of information, products, vendors, etc. Peer reviews of its team’s work product and mentorship This role is 50% billable, requiring the supervisor to produce its own work product as required to maintain manufacturing schedules Minimum Qualifications BS Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or Electrical / Mechanical Technology. Minimum 5-8 years of experience in an Engineering role (design, engineer, or both). Minimum 0-5 years of experience in a leadership role.
