Immediately Looking For :: Java Spring Developer :: Montreal, Onsite Role :: Java Spring Developer (Local Candidate Only) Design, develop, test, and deploy Java-based software applications using the Java Spring and Spring Batch frameworks. Utilize Spring framework to build scalable and high-performance applications. Create and maintain ETL pipelines for data extraction, transformation, and loading into databases. Model and design databases to support software applications, ensuring data integrity and security. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, business analysts, and quality assurance specialists, to deliver software solutions that meet project requirements and deadlines. Troubleshoot and debug software issues and provide technical support to clients. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on Java and Spring. Strong understanding of database design principles and experience working with databases such as DB2, MSSQL, and PostgreSQL. Experience using logging platforms like Splunk. Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban. Excellent communication and collaboration skills; proven ability to work effectively in a team environment. Desired Skills: Agile experience (SCRUM, Kanban), Continuous integration (Maven, Gradle, Artifactory), Exposure to Azure and cloud-based development, Test automation (Cucumber, Selenium, Protractor), TDD or BDD experience.
