Emergency Physician – Peace Arch Hospital Join the Emergency Department team at Peace Arch Hospital, White Rock, BC. We are seeking part-time and full-time Emergency Physicians to join our collegial and well-supported team. The department has strong relationships with all specialty and hospitalist groups within the hospital, contributing to a positive working environment. Facility : Peace Arch Hospital is a 188-bed hospital in White Rock, BC, offering medical, surgical, acute geriatric, obstetrics, palliative, psychiatric and telemetry services, as well as 24/7 emergency services with after-hours emergency surgery. The ED has over 53,000 visits annually with high patient flow. Emergency Department : The ED underwent expansion and upgrades, including five upgraded perioperative suites and a new Medical Device Reprocessing department. The new ED facility features modern space and dedicated areas for child and family care and mental health/substance use services. The department uses advanced technology, including art equipment and a C-arm for fracture reduction. Remuneration : Fee for Service. Qualifications : Candidates must be certified in Emergency Medicine with either the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP-EM) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC). The successful applicant must be eligible for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC. Required or preferred qualifications include: ACLS, ATLS, CCFP-EM, CPSBC Eligible for Full License, FRCPC, PALS. Location : Peace Arch Hospital, White Rock, BC. The hospital offers a range of services and operates 24/7 emergency coverage with after-hours surgery as needed.
