A team of handpicked, high value add investors invested in helping our company and team grow. About the role We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help us with our backend services. What you will do Design and build high-performance backend services in Go to process large-scale data from web security monitoring. Assist in maintaining and enhancing other backend services written in other languages like Typescript or Rust. Build and maintain web crawling infrastructure and backend systems that interface with machine learning models. Work closely with the infrastructure team to ensure observability, reliability, and scalability. Contribute to design discussions and technical decision-making for evolving our backend platform. About you You are fluent in Go, and aren’t afraid to go deep on performance tuning, concurrency, or memory safety. You are experienced with designing APIs and backend architectures that are robust and secure by default. You are comfortable working with machine learning models — whether integrating them into production systems, fine‑tuning existing ones, or building lightweight pipelines for inference. You have designed distributed web crawlers and scraping infrastructure, managing concurrency, rate‑limiting, and data quality challenges. You have strong systems thinking and enjoy reasoning about complex distributed systems. You have worked with event‑driven systems and have experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar message queues. You’re confident deploying and operating services on AWS, and understand the trade‑offs between managed services and custom infrastructure. You are familiar with or are excited to learn how attackers operate and how to design systems that make their job harder. You have 4+ years of experience in backend or systems engineering roles, ideally in high‑scale or security‑sensitive contexts. You have a lot of energy and are eager to work in a dynamic startup environment, working hard to build world‑changing technology, going from 0 to 1. Bonus: you have experience with ClickHouse, understand how to model and partition large datasets, and know how to squeeze every bit of performance out of analytical queries.
