UI Designer Join Klue as a UI Designer. We’re building an AI‑first platform that simplifies competitive intelligence for enterprise teams. Base pay range: CA$115,000 – CA$149,000 per year. Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada (hybrid, 2‑3 days in office). What You’ll Do Polish low‑ and medium‑fidelity prototypes into production‑ready, developer‑ready UI. Audit existing product screens and propose tangible usability improvements. Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to align on design system components, documentation, and prototyping speed. Lead visual QA, create handoff artifacts, and review pull requests. Use AI‑based prototyping tools (Replit, Framer AI, Galileo, Uizard, etc.) to iterate, gather feedback, and update designs. Collect user feedback through live sessions, in‑product testing, or passive observation to drive iteration. Success Looks Like Users enjoy complex tasks and find joy in completing them. Review cycles shrink, QA misses drop, and overall team velocity increases. Design or engineering colleagues can prototype quickly using our design system. What You Bring Must‑Haves 3+ years product design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing process, systems thinking, and measurable outcomes. Deep familiarity with modern design tools (Figma, Penpot, Framer, etc.) and rapid iteration practices. Hands‑on experience with AI‑based design tools that generate, refine, and align designs with stakeholders. Meticulous attention to craft: visual fundamentals, layout, type, color, hierarchy, and spacing. Proven cross‑functional collaboration—shipping designs with Product Managers, Engineers, and broader stakeholders. Strong communication skills: clear, proactive, able to articulate rationale to diverse audiences. Nice‑to-Haves Experience simplifying complex B2B SaaS UIs. Comfort designing multi‑persona or permission flows. Motion design for micro‑interactions. Design system maintenance and improvement experience.
