Our client, a national food manufacturer, is looking for a seasoned (pardon the pun) culinary professional to join their organization as a Corporate Chef . This newly created position will allow someone with a passion for food to work cross functionally and showcase the best-in-class products for the market.


The Corporate Chef will realize the urgencies and complexities of dealing within the Food Service Landscape and will spearhead product training, aligning with customer preferences, industry trends, and nutritional guidelines. This individual will foster a collaborative and creative work environment, providing leadership, training, and mentorship. Ensuring regulatory compliance, the Sales Chef will stay informed about food safety regulations and work with agencies as necessary, while also optimizing ingredient costs. This position will allow someone to move away from the hospitality space and work for a large National CPG organization while still being able to promote a diversified group of products.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • products that align with customer preferences, industry trends, and nutritional guidelines.
  • sales team in Western Canada with customer presentations, food shows, etc.
  • recipes that showcase the quality and versatility of our clients’ products.
  • regular samplings with customers to promote consistency and excellence of our products.
  • analysis of trade and bakery sector to understand competition and current trends.
  • with the sales and marketing teams to create strategies that highlight the unique selling points of our food products.
  • leadership and guidance to the Western Sales team, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
  • and mentor team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
  • and work with Sales Team’s to enhance market knowledge and insights
  • informed about food safety regulations and industry standards to ensure compliance.

REQUIREMENTS:
