Senior Manager, Technical Revenue Accounting

Why consider this job opportunity Salary up to $147,700 Opportunity for career advancement within a fast-paced tech environment Flexible remote work arrangement from anywhere in Canada Comprehensive benefits package including generous time off, healthcare, and retirement savings Chance to work on innovative projects that shape the future of communications Supportive culture that values diverse experiences and community involvement What to Expect (Job Responsibilities) Lead the evaluation and implementation of revenue recognition policies in compliance with ASC 606 Manage a team responsible for technical accounting assessments of complex customer contracts Develop and maintain global revenue accounting policies and documentation Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Legal, and Product teams to align commercial strategies with revenue recognition Oversee the monthly close process and ensure compliance with SOX controls What is Required (Qualifications) Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field 8+ years of progressive experience in technical accounting within a public accounting firm and a corporate environment 6+ years of people management experience Expert knowledge of ASC 606 and US GAAP, particularly in SaaS and usage-based revenue models Proven communication skills to present complex technical concepts effectively How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) CPA or equivalent certification 5+ years of experience in Big 4 public accounting Experience in technical revenue accounting at high-growth technology or publicly traded companies Familiarity with Oracle RMCS and Zuora Revenue We prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal-opportunity employment.
