LiuGong Canada Technical Solutions Manager – Heavy Equipment Support (Alberta or Ontario) Seeking a Heavy Equipment Technical Support Manager who resides in Alberta or Ontario. French/English language proficiency is preferred. Location: Lac la Biche County, Alberta, Canada (Greater Calgary Metropolitan Area) Base pay range: $115,000 – $130,000 USD per year . 15% performance bonus and benefits including standard medical plan, 20 PTO days, mileage reimbursement for business travel. Key responsibilities: Provide technical assistance, training, parts support, and policy guidance to dealers across Canada. Resolve product issues rapidly to improve quality delivered to customers and dealer network. Assist with warranty administration and develop support reference materials. Travel overnight as required. Develop and manage quality issue reports, root cause analyses, and prioritized issue lists. Collaborate with regional and headquarters personnel to obtain information. Develop service training programs and support dealer mechanic training. Oversee dealer development activities for after‑sales growth. Maintain effective communication and teamwork. Monitor aging SIOT technical issues and support QR KPI targets. Work closely with Parts Department to ensure accurate spare‑parts lists. Perform quality inspections on all new forklifts arriving in Canada. Conduct routine and special inspections as required. Interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and specifications. Track parts, materials, tools, and consumables. Repair minor problems on new machines and support shipment handling. Maintain machine stock cleanliness. Generate reports as requested by management. Assist with trade show preparation and booth operations. Support warranty administrator in resolving open claims with dealers. Perform additional duties as required. Background & skills: Bachelor of Science in Business, Industrial Distribution, or related field. Knowledge of business principles and concepts. Minimum 5–7 years experience in technical support of construction or heavy equipment. Proficient in English (written and oral). French/English preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Valid Canadian work authorization; no sponsorship.
