Labtician is a leading provider and manufacturer of medical devices and pharmaceutical products for eye care professionals and their patients. 


Job Description:

The Digital Marketing Associate position is primarily responsible for assisting with digital marketing activities of the surgical and therapeutic product portfolio. This position is a "hands-on" role, working independently, yet offering learning and growth with an evolving digital presence in the Canadian Ophthalmic market. This position reports to the Digital Marketing Manager.


This role is hybrid with 2 days per week in the Oakville office, so candidates must reside in/near the GTA. 


Key Responsibilities:

The Digital Marketing Associate will bring strong creative, analytic and technical ability, along with a strategic sense and strong problem-solving skills.


The key duties of this position:  

·        Manage and execute HubSpot mailings to support the various marketing initiatives

·        Execute a social media plan that promotes the appropriate channels and enhances our social media presence

·        Focus on key social media channels, meet established KPIs, and deliver to the desired audience

·        Deliver on a social media calendar and develop content 

·        Follow through on plans for various communications

·        Jointly, with Marketing and our agency, create, edit, and publish social media content within our brand standards and visual identity requirements

·        Monitor social media and manage company comments/responses

·        Monitor social media trends and tools and recommend actions

·        Meet weekly with Marketing Team Members to ensure digital marketing activities are calendarized and executed.

·        WordPress website additions and/or updates to content when required


Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

·        University Degree or College Diploma/Certificate in Digital Marketing.

·        1-3 years of Digital Marketing experience preferably in a B2B application.


Essential Skills and Abilities:

·        Understanding of SEO, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn to maximize engagement and followers of Optometrists and Ophthalmologists through understanding of current algorithms

·        Competency in the email campaign platform HubSpot

·        Experience with updating WordPress website content

·         Flexible and able to manage competing demands from Marketing

·        Analytical - establishes, gathers and analyzes digital KPI data skillfully.

·        Judgment - displays willingness to make decisions; exhibits sound and accurate judgment; supports and explains reasoning for decisions.

·        Motivation - demonstrates persistence and overcomes obstacles.

·        Planning/Organizing - ability to multi-task, schedule, lead meetings and prioritize and plan work activities; must demonstrate the ability to set and meet deadlines.

·        Strong interpersonal skills are needed to advocate and move projects through cross-functional teams.
