Municipal Project Engineer

Job Description Parsons is now hiring a Municipal Project Engineer to support our municipal clients. We have been improving infrastructure in Canada since 1964. Responsibilities Independently develop engineering designs for roads, drainage and hydrology, utilities, and related municipal projects. Prepare detailed calculations, drawings, specifications, procurement documents, design and installation packages, construction plans and documents, proposal evaluations, technical reports, and detailed analyses. Prepare permit documents, quantity calculations, estimates, and produce/check engineering analytical data to ensure accuracy. Provide support for other engineering activities as required. Perform other responsibilities as may be appropriate. Qualifications 4‑year degree in Civil Engineering or related field. 5 or more years of related civil engineering experience. P.Eng. Certificate is preferred. Proficiency with civil/drainage design software such as AutoCAD Civil3D, MicroStation V8i, Geopak, InRoads, StormCAD, EPA‑SWMM, ArcGIS, SMS w/ SRH‑2D, HydroCAD Storm Sewers, CivilStorm, HEC‑HMS and HEC‑RAS. Salary Range $70,900 – $131,800 Benefits include health, vision, dental, employer‑paid provincial care premiums, Defined Contribution Pension Plan (DCPP), Tax‑Free Savings Account (TFSA), Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP), life insurance, paid time off, sick leave, all province‑observed holidays, and gym membership discounts.
