Company Description Promoting and supporting Soccer Programs for Youth and Adults in Central Alberta Role Description This is a part-time hybrid role for the Director of Referee Operations, located in Central Alberta. The Director will oversee all aspects of referee operations, including recruitment, training, development, and performance evaluation of referees. They will be responsible for League Planning & Scheduling in collaboration with Competition and Development co-ordinator: Referees Assigning during the Indoor Season, ensuring compliance with policies and standards, and addressing any issues or disputes related to refereeing in collaboration with the District Referee Assistant (DRA). Additionally, the Director will work closely with key stakeholders to implement strategies for continuous improvement and foster a professional and inclusive environment for referees. Qualifications Strong leadership and management skills, including the ability to supervise and mentor individuals effectively Experience in developing and implementing training programs, as well as assessing performance Knowledge of soccer rules, regulations, and referee standards Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills Proficiency in scheduling and organizational tools Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and during soccer seasons/events Previous experience in referee operations, or a related field, is an asset Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and contribute to an inclusive sports community #J-18808-Ljbffr
