Oracle Fusion ERP Billing/Invoicing extension developer

Head of Oracle Technologies at Next Ventures Our client is rolling out Oracle Cloud ERP (Fusion) across the US and Canada and is seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Technical Developer to design and implement custom invoicing extensions . The role involves building tools or components that enable customized invoice generation per customer, incorporating additional data such as expense receipts and detailed billing information . The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience developing Oracle Fusion extensions , strong technical knowledge of Oracle Financials (AR, GL) , and the ability to perform reverse engineering on Deltek Costpoint to align legacy functionality with Oracle Cloud ERP capabilities. Key Responsibilities Design and develop Oracle Fusion extensions to customize invoice generation and output. Create solutions that integrate customer‑specific billing details, expense reports, and supporting documentation into Oracle invoices. Work with Finance and Business teams to capture and translate US/Canada‑specific billing requirements. Configure or extend Oracle Accounts Receivable (AR) and General Ledger (GL) modules to support custom billing scenarios. Perform reverse engineering of Deltek Costpoint billing and invoicing processes to replicate or enhance them within Oracle Cloud ERP. Develop and document integration points, reports, and custom objects related to invoicing. Collaborate with Oracle functional consultants and global rollout teams to ensure solution alignment with corporate templates and compliance standards. Support testing, deployment, and post‑go‑live stabilization activities. Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of experience in Oracle ERP development (preferably Oracle Cloud / Fusion Financials ). Proven experience developing custom invoicing extensions or Oracle BI Publisher (BIP) / OTBI reports for customer billing. Strong understanding of Oracle AR and GL data models and processes. Experience with Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF) , Oracle Visual Builder , and REST/SOAP web services for integrations. Experience integrating Expense Management or third‑party data into Oracle billing processes. Ability to analyze and replicate functionality from Deltek Costpoint (or similar legacy ERP). Strong SQL, PL/SQL, and technical documentation skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across functional and technical teams. Nice to Have Experience in multi‑entity or multi‑country ERP rollouts (preferably North America). Familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) . Knowledge of Oracle Project Billing or Project Accounting modules. Prior work in professional services or engineering/consulting industries with complex billing needs. #J-18808-Ljbffr
