What You'll Do: Strategic Underwriting: Your role goes beyond individual policies; you're crafting the blueprint for our entire portfolio. Your decisions are informed by a comprehensive understanding of underwriting guidelines and industry best practices. Technical Guidance: Your expertise isn't just valuable internally; it's a guiding light for our entire team. You provide technical assistance on underwriting matters, ensuring that our decisions are grounded in sound underwriting principles. Policy Development: Your input into policy development is crucial. You contribute to the creation and refinement of policy wordings and documentation, ensuring that they meet the needs of our customers and comply with regulatory requirements. Compliance Oversight: Compliance isn't just a box to tick; it's a fundamental aspect of our operations. You work closely with the Governance Team to ensure that our underwriting practices are compliant with internal processes and regulatory requirements. Documentation Management: Your attention to detail ensures that our policy wordings and documentation are clear, accurate, and legally sound. You play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers understand their coverage and obligations. Underwriting governance and controls: You're not just following rules; you're shaping them. You assist in the development, administration, and monitoring of underwriting controls, rules and guidelines which cover key areas of technical and governance best practice, relating to underwriting, ensuring that they evolve in line with our strategic objectives.
