Chemical Engineer Direct message the job poster from Belcan Job Title: Chemical Engineer On-site, 100% full-time, 40 hours/week Location: Lachine, QC The chemical engineering contractor will primarily be expected to support the Chemical manufacturing engineering specialist in the following activities: Understand, develop and manage new specific to product tooling projects related to chemical wash and processing projects. Manage consumables for operational teams. If required, a contractor may be asked to provide additional support to the chemical manufacturing engineering specialists, such as: Develop, implement, maintain and continuously improve on-site repair processes and/or methods of repair which are capable of meeting and continuing to meet requirements for quality, cost, delivery and lead time. Engage as necessary with relevant interfacing teams (Operations, Quality, Metrology, Maintenance, Customer Business etc.), to ensure technical aspects of repair processes are understood and accounted for. Identify opportunities for new or improved repair processes to meet current or future business requirements in line with new product introduction requirements.
