THE ROLE: AMD is seeking a Product Marketing leader to engage the developer ecosystem and accelerate developer adoption of AMD Pervasive AI products. Successful candidates will be responsible for enabling the community of machine learning developers, including data scientists, model architects, and application developers. You will lead a team to create and maintain user facing resources that accelerate user engagement and deployment of machine learning solutions on AMD’s AI portfolio of products. In this capacity, you will help develop the pipeline of applications for the expansion of AMD’s Pervasive AI strategy. You will engage and be a key contributor to industry workshops and events, and in creating and deploying programs such as developer contests and workshops. Other responsibilities will include creating and maintaining repositories of proof points, reference solutions, and training material that is easily accessible and in relevant formats accustomed to the machine learning community. As a member of the Developer Acceleration Team within AMD’s AI Product Management organization, you will have opportunity to work closely with internal stakeholders across the company as well as engage directly with external customers and partners. Close interaction with Engineering, Applications, and Customer stakeholders is essential. THE PERSON: The type of person who will be successful in this role is growth oriented, and motivated by leading and teaching others to learn. You will exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills and you will be highly adaptable to working in dynamic environments. Applicants should possess a BS/MS in EE or equivalent. The position requires comprehensive knowledge of machine learning architectures, models, and developer tools. Prior work experience in accelerated machine learning is required. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage the open source community of resources for developers, including creating and maintaining documentation, managing forums, and engaging with contributors Engage the developer community with resources that accelerate targeting products, including creating sample applications, code snippets, and reference architectures that demonstrate the value of our AI products Contribute to industry workshops and events, including presenting our company's technology and engaging with customers and partners to understand their needs Create developer programs like contests, and other initiatives that help drive adoption of our AI products and build a community of developers around our technology Create training materials for workshops, tutorials, and quick start guides that enable developers to quickly get up to speed with our technology and start building applications Manage and maintain the source code repository for examples and proof points, ensuring that code is up to date, well-documented, and easy to use PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Experience with machine learning foundation models and applications Experience with Jupyter notebooks and Python script Software build environments, containerized deployments such as virtual environments and Docker Experience with creating, and managing upstream contributions to github repositories Customer training and technical workshops Perl/Python/C++ scripting for test automation ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Electrical or Computer Engineering MBA is plus LOCATION: Ontario, Canada Benefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.
