SJR is an independent co‑educational Kindergarten to Grade 12 university‑preparatory day school that prepares students for university and the challenges of the world beyond. We invite applications for the following position. Position Title Learning Support Teacher – Term (Full time 1.0 EFT term position to commence Jan. 2026 until June 20, 2026). Responsibilities and Qualifications Have a Manitoba Teaching Certificate or be eligible to obtain one Experience teaching or working with students in a Kindergarten to Grade 12 school setting Post‑baccalaureate certification or specialized training in programming for literacy, numeracy, instruction and assessment for exceptional students Experience in planning and programming for students with individualized learning needs including the implementation of AEP/IEP documents Experience in guiding/collaborating with classroom teachers and educational assistants, and communicating with parents Knowledge of teaching strategies that celebrate the unique strengths, learning needs, and cultural identities of each child Knowledge or experience in specific areas, such as, but not limited to: social/emotional development, assistive technologies, and differentiated instruction Qualified applicants should forward their applications, including a cover letter, résumé, and the names of three references, by Friday, December 5, 2025 to: .
