Base pay range CA$80,000.00/yr - CA$100,000.00/yr At Beacon HR, we help founders and leadership teams build better businesses through smart, modern, and people-first HR practices. We’re a bright, values-driven team that partners with fast-growing companies across industries - from tech and creative agencies to manufacturing and non-profits. We believe HR should be strategic, approachable, and deeply human. Our HR Partners primarily operate at the HR Business Partner and Manager level - working fractionally with multiple clients as trusted strategic advisors who bring clarity, capability, and compassion to every project. About the Role: As an HR Partner at Beacon HR , you’ll join our team full-time and work fractionally with several clients at a time to support their internal people development programs. You’ll collaborate with founders, CEOs, and senior leaders to design and deliver thoughtful HR strategies that unlock growth, improve engagement, and strengthen culture. This role is ideal for someone who loves variety and can move seamlessly between clients, industries, and priorities. You’re equally comfortable getting into the weeds to solve a tactical HR challenge and zooming out to design a 360° people strategy. At Beacon, success comes from bringing strong business acumen, curiosity, and empathy as well as being energized by collaborating with leaders and coaching executives to make confident, people-centered decisions. While this role is remote-first, we have a strong preference for candidates in the Greater Vancouver or Toronto areas so you can connect with clients and teammates in person as needed . About You: You’re an experienced, collaborative HR professional who thrives on variety and connection. You’re comfortable advising senior leaders, navigating ambiguity, and rolling up your sleeves when needed. You bring both empathy and structure - and you’re as passionate about people as you are about results. You have: 5+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner, HR Consultant, or Senior HR Generalist in fast-paced environments. Strong consultative approach - you can build trust quickly and deliver thoughtful, actionable guidance. Have worked in both in-house and consulting environments. Broad expertise in HR, employee relations, performance, engagement, and change management. A proven ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously, balancing priorities without losing quality or connection. The agility to flex seamlessly between strategic advisory and hands‑on implementation, depending on what a client needs most. Excellent communication skills and the confidence to advise leaders with clarity and care. A high degree of organization, follow‑through, and accountability. A genuine passion for continuous learning and people‑centered leadership. Bonus Points If You: Have experience facilitating leadership development or learning programs. Hold a CPHR designation (or are working toward it), or have a degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, or a related field. Bring industry experience in tech or professional services. What’s in It for You: At Beacon HR, we combine the stability of an in‑house role with the flexibility and variety of consulting life. You’ll enjoy a remote‑first, results‑oriented environment where impact and balance go hand in hand. We offer a salary of $80,000–$100,000, plus: Flex days added throughout the year to support your health, well‑being, and life outside of work A holiday closure between Christmas and New Years Fully remote work Extended health and dental benefits Tech and L&D allowance Flexible hours to accommodate life and energy peaks Team retreats and in‑person connection throughout the year What to Expect in Our Hiring Process: We know applying takes time and energy – so here’s what you can expect from us along the way: Application Review → We carefully review every application and reach out directly to those moving forward.
