We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a year round part-time Merchandiser. This role involves working with our retail chain partners who have locations in Courtney and Campbell River to manage product placement, watering, maintenance, and other merchandising tasks. The schedule varies throughout the year, offering flexibility and variety. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for part-time work. We are ideally seeking one person for both Courtney and Campbell River but we will consider hiring two people one for Courtney and one for Campbell River

*Job Description:*
* Merchandise live nursery products
* Inventory reporting
* Work independently in a retail environment
* Part-time, year round employment (2-10 hrs/week)

*Job Duties:*
* Represent Van Belle Finished Plants at each retail location
* Maintain live nursery product
* Clean & face shelf product - removal of poor product
* Moving product & product placement
* Submit inventory reports on an online portal
* Report to your territory manager

*Requirements:*
* Friendly and positive attitude
* Be able to lift 25 lbs minimum
* Able to travel between multiple locations
* Composite toe shoes or boots with green csa triangle
* Ability to work independently & problem solve
* Adaptable schedule
* Smart phone with text, data, email capabilities for daily communication
* Basic plant knowledge or gardening experience a plus, but not required

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 5 per week
