Overview Agencie Architecture & Engineering is hiring a Senior Structural Engineer with the ability to provide high-level technical support to various retail, aviation and residential projects. This individual will contribute to our multi-disciplinary team of architects and engineers and will be involved throughout the life of a project. General duties include analysis, preparation of construction documents, executing structural design tasks and interfacing with other discipline specialists. Responsibilities Develop preliminary studies and prepare plans for all structural projects including aviation, residential, retail and hospitality structures. Structural engineering and enclosure engineering on secondary steel. Perform structural analysis tasks and design of building materials including, but not limited to: steel, prestressed and reinforced concrete, and timber design. Assist in the preparation of construction documents (drawings and specifications) and ensure all projects comply with applicable codes and regulations. Experience with luxury residential construction in Ontario. Perform onsite investigations of structures and develop reports detailing findings and assessments under project leadership. Prepare meeting minutes and project progress reports. Perform other responsibilities as assigned. This is a hybrid position. Monthly in-person meeting required in the NYC office. Requirements Master’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required. PEng required. Architecture, construction detailing or visual art experience is preferred. Construction experience is preferred. 5 years of related experience including structural engineering project experience. Proficiency in Revit is preferred. Proficiency in SAP, ETABS or RAM. Canadian or US Citizen Candidates in Toronto, Muskoka or Barrie preferred.
