Skills and Competencies Strong experience in business transformation, process improvement, or consulting Proven ability to deliver and drive adoption of change in complex environments Experience leading Lean Six Sigma projects to achieve results; Green Belt certification preferred Skilled in defining, designing, documenting, implementing, and controlling business processes Understanding of data principles to inform design requirements Experience collaborating with technology teams Self-starter able to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities Comfortable engaging at both senior and detailed/analytical levels Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use Education Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (preferred) Responsibilities Lead process transformation initiatives to enhance customer experience, drive efficiency, and strengthen controls across Moody’s Commercial Group. Own, manage, and execute business processes and controls, identifying inefficiencies and implementing Lean or Six Sigma initiatives Serve as process owner for operational or regulatory processes of low to medium complexity, with support from senior leadership Collaborate with stakeholders across technology, compliance, and sales to deliver and adopt new processes and drive continuous feedback Lead or support projects and workstreams to enhance or transform processes in response to business objectives or regulatory changes Plan and execute business readiness activities, including documentation, training, and go-live support Develop, track, and report metrics to measure process performance, analyze trends, and identify improvement opportunities Design, implement, and operate controls, ensuring robust governance and remediation of identified gaps Maintain a backlog of improvement ideas focused on continuous enhancement from customer and process perspectives About the team Our Commercial Operations Process Team is responsible for driving improvements to Commercial Group processes using Lean Six Sigma and Agile methodologies.
