Overview Senior Benefits Analyst role at OpenTable. This is a remote role to start, with plans to transition to hybrid in-office 2x/week located in downtown Toronto. About This Role The Sr. Benefits Analyst will support all employee benefit programs (insured and non-insured) globally for OpenTable, focusing on governance, design, analysis, implementation and communication. The role ensures local benefit packages follow local relevance, legal compliance, industry standards, and align with our global benefits philosophy. The role will focus on internal management of benefits and relationships with relevant third parties (brokers, providers, system vendors, etc.). Key Responsibilities Ensure that benefits programs remain compliant with local legislation, are competitive with local and global job markets, and aligned with OpenTable’s global total rewards strategy. Conduct regular benchmarking and monitoring of market competitiveness of programs to address employee and business needs. Provide support in designing, testing and maintaining Benefit Administration Tools (Workday) and troubleshoot integration issues. Support leave administration via policy-setting and process enhancement for all types of leave. Support departmental and regional People Partners, HR Operations, Payroll and business leaders with global processes and localization of global philosophies. Train HR teams for ongoing administration, communication, and execution of benefits programs. Collaborate with HR People Partners, HR systems & delivery teams, Compensation & Benefits, internal communications, and other specialists to educate and inform employees and deliver the value of our benefits accurately. Troubleshoot and support resolution of escalated issues with internal and external stakeholders. Act as point person on global benefits and well-being projects and on global vendor management and negotiation. Stay updated on benefits and well-being trends and propose ideas for OpenTable. Lead annual Open Enrollment process, including employee communication and system design. For this Canada-based role, the range is CAD $110,000 - $134,000. We offer a competitive base salary and benefits including health benefits, flexible spending, retirement benefits, life insurance, paid time off, and parental leave.
