Job Summary The Director Global Sales Operations provides strategic leadership and analytical support across global sales functions, partnering with cross‑functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Product Management. This position drives sales process, productivity through data‑driven insights, forecasting, and capacity analysis aligned with headcount and budget goals. Acting as a trusted advisor and coach to sales leadership, the role supports performance management, compensation design, and the development of incentive programs that motivate results. It also plays a key role in enabling sales success by optimizing tools, processes, and training programs, ensuring operational excellence and continuous improvement across the sales organization. Location: This is a hybrid role, in the office two days a week. Office is located in 405 The West Mall, Suite 400, Toronto, ON M9C 5K7. Key Duties and Responsibilities Cross Functional Leadership Liaise with members of the Sales, Marketing, Finance, Business Support, Executive and Operational teams. Provide sales productivity and capacity analysis that ties into headcount & budgets. Support the development of compensation plans and incentive programs that motivate the sales team to achieve their sales targets. Support the annual planning process across global Sales organization. Work with product teams to translate product business plans into executable sales productivity plans, forecasts, quotas and targets. Provide analytical and reporting support for sales activities. Opportunity analysis – Inspection and identification of staff development opportunities. Sales Leadership Coach & Mentor Assists sales management in understanding and addressing sales deficiencies and performance inconsistencies. Assist sales management with the management and administration of their teams. Facilitate a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and executing on opportunities for sales process enhancement, collaborating with cross‑functional teams such as marketing, operations management, operations and finance. Partner with Sales Enablement and Product Management team to develop, deliver, and maintain operational training of sales systems and processes. Maintain reporting and business cadence to proactively inspect and manage sales, drive the pace of the business and go‑to‑market efforts to meet critical KPIs in terms of closing, revenue, and opportunity pipeline. Leverage Salesforce.com to provide presales analytics on deal commitments and pipeline, and post‑sale reporting of closing data and performance against plan. Drive Sales productivity & effectiveness through developing and optimizing tools and technology. Perform other related duties as assigned by management. Adhere to established policies and procedures. Capabilities in analytics and scorecards with the strong ability to effectively use data and translate into meaningful information, actionable insights/trends, strategies and programs. Exceptional interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with the ability to present to all levels in the organization including executive leadership and employees. Effective feedback and coaching skills, in personal and virtual environment. Highly effective decision‑making and judgment with a sense of urgency and a proactive approach. Self‑driven individual with the ability to work independently. Excellent customer service skills and ability to partner with multiple, diverse stakeholders in an authentic and empathetic way. Strong change management skills with the ability to drive change initiatives and influence key stakeholders. Strong team player with ability to meet deadlines, while thriving in a fast‑paced work environment juggle multiple priorities and projects. Outstanding problem‑solver who exhibits excellent project management and critical thinking skills. Experience Minimum 5 years’ experience in Commercial Sales Operations Education & Certifications Minimum required: High School/GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key accountabilities of the job required. Preferred: Bachelors Degree or equivalent Additional Information May be required to work evenings, weekends and/or statutory holidays. Local / Regional / International travel, up to 10% required.
