About This Team lululemon is looking to hire a dynamic Senior Security Engineer to join the Data Security team to safeguard sensitive data through classification, encryption, data loss prevention policies, and privacy‑by‑design practices. The Security, Architecture, Data Security & Engineering (SADE) organization in Cybersecurity is a multidisciplinary security team focused on protecting lululemon’s digital ecosystem through proactive architecture, data protection, and engineering enablement. We deliver scalable, resilient, and integrated security capabilities that enable secure innovation across lululemon’s technology landscape. Core Responsibilities As a Senior Security Engineer, you will work in ambiguous, data‑rich environments to synthesize clear security narratives and provide actionable insights for business partners. You will own and deliver key security initiatives, including business review reports and programmatic status updates, while developing and enhancing tools, metrics, and dashboards that strengthen security awareness and guide strategic decision‑making across the organization. Lead advanced research and analysis on data security risks, configurations, and emerging threats to identify opportunities for risk reduction and improved posture. Design, implement, and validate secure data systems and workflows, collaborating with product and engineering teams to embed security into architecture and development processes. Support incident response and remediation for data‑related security events through in‑depth technical investigation and corrective actions. Provide expert guidance and actionable recommendations on data protection strategies, compliance requirements, and security best practices across projects and initiatives. Qualifications 6+ years’ experience in Cyber security engineering Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or a related discipline. Advanced knowledge of cybersecurity tools and practices across multiple domains. Working experience in dealing with Big Data and large‑scale enterprise systems Proficiency in secure configuration, troubleshooting, and system hardening. Understanding of risk management and threat landscapes. Ability to evaluate and improve security controls. Familiarity with DSPM/CSPM tools. Understanding of compliance frameworks (GDPR, PCI, SOX) Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills (data modelling skills would be an asset). Ability to create detailed, high quality, design deliverables. Retail experience is a plus. Compensation & Benefits Package lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay‑for‑performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $123,500-$162,100 annually ; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
