Professor - (Contract Faculty) Product Formulation/ Biopharmaceuticals Join Seneca Polytechnic as a contract faculty professor in the School of Biological Sciences and Applied Chemistry, teaching courses related to product formulation, biopharmaceuticals, and pharmaceutical regulation. This role supports experiential learning, industry partnerships, and curriculum development. Responsibilities Design and deliver high-quality instruction for courses such as PFM714, PBB814, and graduate certificates. Ensure clear communication of course objectives, assessment methods, and learning outcomes. Provide academic counseling, tutoring, and support to students. Create engaging learning environments using available resources, field trips, and student work experience. Assess student performance and manage overall course evaluations. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, life sciences or closely related discipline (Master’s or postgraduate certificate preferred). Minimum 3 years of professional experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, formulation, or biopharmaceutical production. Expertise in dosage form development, manufacturing processes, cGMP compliance, troubleshooting, and regulatory affairs. Strong knowledge of Canadian regulatory standards and quality systems. Experience in teaching or training in a professional or academic setting. Excellent presentation, communication, and teamwork skills; commitment to equity in education. Demonstrated research experience and ability to collaborate with industry partners.
