Duties & Responsibilities Ensure maintenance activities are accomplished in accordance with the policies and procedures contained in the MCM, MPM, DPDs, aircraft and component maintenance manuals and Transport Canada requirements; Maintain an AME - E license and ACA qualifications, as required, on company aircraft; Acquire and maintain Airport Security Clearance, AVOP, Passport, and full ‘G’ Driver’s License; Responsible for mentoring new Apprentices; Liaise with the Lead and MOC with regards to scheduled assigned overnight work packages; Ensure that all Porter technical documentation, such as maintenance releases, associated with defects or Work Packs is accomplished as per company standards prior to submission to Technical Records; Assist with ground support equipment (GSE) maintenance, and generate logs for any equipment that requires repair; Responsible to ensure the consumable materials and tooling stored in the hangar and service vehicles are maintained in a neat and tidy manner; Responsible for supporting AOG maintenance system wide as required; Assist the Lead in ensuring the hangar work areas, including all locations in hangar, office, as well as service vehicles and equipment, are kept clean in an effort to maintain a safe work environment; Utilize the SMS reporting program for any hazards or incidents that may occur; Other duties and tasks as assigned.
