Middle Software Engineer

What You’ll Do Develop secure authentication services using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Security Implement OAuth2, OIDC, and JWT authentication patterns Integrate backend components with AWS SDKs (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, IAM) Build cloud‑native microservices following modern security and reliability standards Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to platform design Write clean, testable code and perform code reviews Collaborate with product, cloud, and security teams What You Bring 5+ years backend development using Java 17/21 Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Security, and REST APIs Hands‑on experience implementing OAuth2 or JWT flows Experience with AWS SDKs (Lambda, API Gateway, IAM) Strong API security fundamentals and microservices experience Familiarity with PostgreSQL and CI/CD pipelines Nice to Have Identity federation/IAM knowledge Kafka or event‑driven architecture Experience in financial services Legal & Hiring Information Exadel is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to inclusion across minority, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, and more Reasonable accommodations are available to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions Please note: this job description is not exhaustive.
