Overview Junior Environmental Geoscientist or Engineer at WSP in Canada, Terrace, BC. Responsibilities You are a champion of Health & Safety initiatives and an ambassador for our Zero Harm safety culture—this is a top priority Contribute to Inclusion & Diversity, ensuring colleagues feel comfortable bringing their authentic selves to work Conduct field work, including soil, groundwater, vapour, surface water, and/or sediment investigations, environmental drilling, monitoring programs, and oversee site remediation; perform site visits to monitor crew safety Collect data, assist with data compilation, and contribute to reporting for phased environmental site assessments, remediation, and site monitoring Collaborate with colleagues from various disciplines to support personal and project goals Take the next step in kick-starting your career What You’ll Bring To WSP A positive, can-do attitude with willingness to learn and share knowledge Self-motivated, flexible, and able to think creatively Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geoscience, or a related discipline Eligible to register in a relevant professional designation in BC (e.g., PEng, PGeo, PAg, PChem, or RPBio) after gaining required experience Minimum of one year of experience in environmental consulting Interest in learning new computing programs, methodologies, and field equipment/techniques Clear and demonstrated communication skills, both verbally and in writing A clean Driver’s Abstract Willingness to travel Salary and Benefits Salary range (British Columbia): $55,400 to $88,400 . The final salary may vary based on education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, and business needs.
