As a**SDET**you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to continually advocate for the integrity of our QA process for all major deployments.We practice a remote first working model, leveraging in person interactions at our head office, in beautiful Vancouver, BC, for strategic, collaborative, and social purposes.Apply now and grow your career with our technology team as a **S******oftware** Development Engineer in Test (SDET II).****What you'll do:*** Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for mobile applications on Android and iOS platforms.* Build and enhance mobile test automation frameworks, ensuring robust coverage for both native and hybrid mobile apps.* Plan, document, and execute functional and regression automated tests in Java or Groovy.* Integrate mobile test automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins).* Participate in grooming and sprint planning sessions to establish priorities and share input with product and development teams.* Researching test tools, methodologies, and trends to upgrade existing practices and processes.* Collaborate with the team, product owners, and stakeholders to create an automated test strategy and product test plan.* Log bugs in JIRA with steps and details to help pinpoint developmental issues.* Maintain and update automated test plans, scenarios, and cases to meet system integration, functional, regression, and performance testing requirements.**What we’re looking for:*** 3+ years of test automation experience using Java or Groovy.* 2+ years of experience in mobile test automation for both Android and iOS applications* 3+ years of experience in planning, designing, developing, and executing tests.* 2+ years of experience with Test Frameworks e.g. TestNG, Spock framework.* Familiarity with mobile device emulators, simulators, and cloud-based device farms.* Strong knowledge of Git/GitHub, Jenkins, and other DevOps tools.* Experience in agile/scrum environments with strong knowledge of QA and software development processes.**Why you’ll love it here:*** Remote-first work environment.* Employee discounts on awesome tech from day one.* Flexible health benefits and wellness program.* Development opportunities to build new and transferable skills.**About Best Buy**As Canada's destination for the coolest tech, Best Buy offers one of the best work environments in the country Our culture is one of inclusivity and belonging and provides employees with an environment where they can bring their whole selves to work.We believe in a fair and inclusive hiring process and encourage you to apply even if you may not meet all the requirements.**Join our amazing team**We are looking for people just like you.**Annualized base pay range**$80,000.00 - $93,000.00### ### Starting pay offered will consider skills and experience.
