Base pay range $85,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer Remote work supported; team distributed across Canada (GTA, Winnipeg, Central/Eastern time zones preferred) Compensation: $85K - $100K base compensation, depending on experience Our client, a rapidly growing software company specializing in workforce management solutions for the healthcare/senior living/rehab sector, is looking for a Senior QA Specialist to join their dynamic and growing team Opportunity to build QA processes from the ground up—your expertise will shape the future of quality at our client. What You’ll Do: Lead the transformation of QA practices, introducing automation and scalable processes. Collaborate with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality releases. Manage both manual and automated testing, including urgent QA tasks. Onboard new QA hires and serve as a resource for product knowledge. Drive sprint planning and execution in a two-week agile cycle. Document and maintain a comprehensive suite of test cases (starting from scratch). Explore and implement AI tools for testing and automation. Support DevOps handoff and release management as needed. Backend: .NET 8 (migration from .NET Framework nearly complete) Frontend: React Hosting: Colocation facility (cloud migration to Azure planned) Project Management: Atlassian suite Who You Are: 7+ years of QA experience (senior-level, hands‑on) Proven track record of building QA processes and automation in a software company Strong understanding of workforce management, scheduling, time & attendance, or payroll systems (industry experience a plus) Comfortable as an individual contributor (not a management role) Experience with both manual and automated testing Familiarity with DevOps practices and release management a huge plus Excellent communicator and collaborator Thrive in a “blank sheet of paper” environment—ready to build from scratch Bonus Points For: Experience in senior living, healthcare, or similar shift-based industries Payroll product knowledge AI/ML tools for QA automation Prime Team Partners is an equal opportunity employer.
