Prepare and deliver course content, including lectures and/or seminars; create courseware. Develop/ administer assignments, tests and examinations; mark and submit grades. Maintain reasonable hours of student contact outside scheduled hours. Supervise day-to-day work of Sessional Instructional Assistants or Teaching Assistants assigned to the course. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: The candidate must demonstrate superior teaching ability and possess appropriate academic and/or professional qualifications (Ph.D. or Ph.D. candidacy in a relevant field) with mastery of the subject matter. Proven teaching excellence in this or related course, ability to engage a diverse student body, strong organizational and communication skills, and experience using relevant learning technologies and online teaching platforms. Preferred Qualifications: Substantial practical experience applying the subject matter in professional contexts; active research profile in the course area with recent peer‑reviewed publications. Classes Are In-person And Run as Follows: January 5, 2025 to April 2, 2026. Exams: April 9, 2026 to April 30, 2026. All positions involve completion of all course grading and availability during the central exam period. Salary Salary for a half-course (0.50 FCEs) inclusive of vacation pay: Sessional Lecturer I: $9,820.70; Sessional Lecturer I-Long Term: $10,510.04; Sessional Lecturer II: $10,510.04; Sessional Lecturer II-Long Term: $10,760.28; Sessional Lecturer III: $10,760.28; Sessional Lecturer III-Long Term: $11,030.36.
