As an HR Account Manager for the Advisory function, the Functional HR Leader, Advisory works with the Advisory Canadian Managing Partner and Advisory Leadership Team on the development and implementation of Advisory Talent Management Strategy and related national talent initiatives. They will partner with specialists in Talent Attraction, Total Rewards, Learning & Development, Employee Relations and other HR Business Advisors to assess the current state of the function, make recommendations, and ensure the right talent is engaged, retained and developed. What You Will Do Participate as an active member of the National HR Leadership Team representing the Advisory function. Act as an internal consultant to our Advisory team, providing solutions and strategic insights to successfully execute on current and future talent needs. Provide industry and market best practices and offer thought leadership on organizational and people-related talent strategy. Build strong collaborative relationships with leadership at an executive level that adds value to business results. Provide overall functional HR direction during business planning and work with Advisory Leadership Team and National HR Leadership Team. Analyze talent issues and determine solutions, partnering with Centres of Expertise when necessary, bringing data and insights to the table. Develop talent through succession planning and next‑generation new leader processes across the function. Work with local leaders and HR Business Advisors to enhance teamwork across Advisory, identifying themes and opportunities for individual growth and development. Collaborate with other Functional HR Leaders to drive cross‑functional efficiencies. Act as a liaison across HR (Delivery centre and COEs) to align and optimise HR services for the Advisory function. What You Bring To The Role 10+ years of work experience as an HR Leader or Senior Business Partner. 5+ years of professional services experience with a deep understanding of the Advisory business and talent trends. Strong executive presence and ability to build relationships quickly with stakeholders. Extensive experience across HR including reward principles, performance management, career development, learning and organisational development. CHRP or equivalent experience is an asset. Strategic thinker with strong analysis, presentation and communication skills. Self‑starter who brings timely and relevant insights to leadership. Deep skill set in understanding and interpreting business issues, building rapport, inquiry, listening, diagnosis, summarising and influencing. This position requires written and oral fluency in English. The successful candidate will support and collaborate with English‑speaking colleagues or stakeholders across Canada. Salary Information The expected base salary range for this position is $115,000 to $193,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies and unique qualifications.
