Overview Senior Embedded Software Designer - Wireless/L2/Cloud role at Syntronic - A Global Design House . Join to apply for this role at Syntronic. What You’ll Do Implementing, troubleshooting, and integrating complex software functionalities in C/C++ code, in a multicore target environment Applying knowledge of real-time software development and wireless communication protocols (4G/5G NR) Designing, coding, and testing solutions in a timely manner Documenting system analysis, software designs, and test plans Following an Agile product development process, working collaboratively in cross-functional teams Continuously keeping your competence and skills up to date What You’ll Need To Get The Job Done Minimum 5 years experience in a related field, and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering or Computer Science C programming experience is a must Good 3GPP radio access standardization knowledge, including radio access algorithms and radio access protocols Experience with developing/systemizing/testing software for 5G L1/L2 protocols Good knowledge of test methodology, test tools and simulators on system and node level; some test cases and scenarios are automated, so knowledge in Java, Perl, XML, Python is a must Good understanding of Linux and ability to use DPDK and Smart Network Interface cards to optimize the data processing path Understand concepts like Docker containers, Kubernetes deployment, Helm charts and canary deployment Experience of Cloud-Native Development Pipeline principles and tools – CI/CD (DevOps), Jenkins, Spinnaker is an asset Good knowledge in Git, Gerrit and Jira Be able to work with SW design, SW implementation and SW verification/integration Knowledge about agile and lean ways of working What Will Make Us REALLY Love You Self-driven and proactive approach Good documentation skills; strong troubleshooting skills in a large-scale system Outstanding problem-solving ability, including debugging/analytical skills Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, with the ability to produce clear documentation for both colleagues and customers What You’ll Love About Us At Syntronic, our employees are our greatest asset.
