Our technologies include raw water pretreatment, degasification, hot lime softening, boiler make-up, condensate polishing, wastewater treatment, cooling, and oil / water separation for markets such as petrochemical / chemical, power generation and heavy industrial plants. Marmon Industrial Water is currently seeking an Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to join our New Equipment group. The ideal candidate possesses the knowledge, skills and experience required to design and develop instrumentation and controls systems. This position can be based in either our Burlington, Ontario or Warren, New Jersey locations. Responsibilities Prepare detailed drawings, including P&IDs, loop diagrams, schematic wiring diagrams, panel layouts, installation details and bills of materials based on company standards and customer requirements. Create logic diagrams, cause & effect diagrams (utilizing past experience or company templates & examples). Design controls systems, panel layouts, and equipment schematics. PLC & HMI Program development, testing and checkout. Make instrument selections, prepare instrument specifications, review engineering documents and specifications. Plan and properly organize workflow to meet varying workload demands and adapt to changing and competing priorities. Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with project team and individuals from other disciplines. Create instrument list and data sheets, specify instruments, valves and work independently, establish priorities, exercise judgment, and meet deadlines. Prioritize and handle multiple tasks and various managers in a fast-paced environment. Work independently and amongst a team to establish priorities, exercise judgment, and meet deadlines. Qualifications, Skills, Competencies Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Have professional registration or license in their designated state / province 4+ years experience in I&C engineering AutoCAD or similar CAD software experience. Working knowledge of PLC / DCS systems, SCADA, communication protocols popular in North America Understanding of process instruments and instrument installation, hook up, tuning, etc. Strong problem solving, accuracy attention to detail, and troubleshooting skills Excellent verbal / written communication skills, planning and organizing abilities and excellent interpersonal skills A team player with the ability to work independently Learn more about Marmon Industrial Water at Following receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law. #J-18808-Ljbffr
