If you are someone who is highly motivated and looking for career growth, we invite you to apply We are hiring for a Full-Time Butcher Supervisor position with a wage range of $18.00 - $24.00 at our location in Peace River, AB. Job Duties/Responsibilities: Cut and package meat products Cut beef carcasses, sides, and quarters Cut, trim, grind, weigh, and prepare standard cuts of meat Prepare sausages and smoked meat products Assist Meat Department Manager in Team Member training and inventory control to achieve operational standards Maintain a clean and sanitized work area Stock and maintain shelves and displays Properly handle and store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures Prepare special orders as per customer’s request Interact with customers to explain various meat cuts and recipes Handling customer service inquiries and providing a positive customer experience What you Bring: 2+ years experience as a Butcher Knowledge of different cuts and preparation of meat (beef, pork, poultry, etc.) Experience breaking down beef carcasses Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented environment Comfortable working during peak grocery deli hours (i.e. evenings, daytime, weekends, and holidays) Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50lbs Most importantly, the willingness and enthusiasm for continuous learning and development.
