We are growing our team and looking for contributors of all seniorities to join us as a Sr. SysOps Engineer, developing and operating a multi-megawatt AI datacenter. You’ll work closely with engineers and architects to build, modify, and manage clusters of thousands of AI accelerators. In addition, you’ll help design data center blueprints for customer deployments, applying your expertise in enterprise, HPC, and AI data center operations. This role is on-site, based out of Toronto, Canada. We welcome candidates at various experience levels for this role. Responsibilities Operate and evolve a multi-megawatt AI datacenter supporting thousands of accelerators. Implement cluster builds and changes, manage inventory, equipment RMAs, and DCIM systems. Direct internal and external resources, ensuring efficient and reliable operations. Collaborate with engineers and architects to support cluster design, troubleshooting, and improvements. What You Will Learn How to run one of the world’s most advanced AI datacenters powering large-scale training and inference workloads. The opportunity to help design blueprints for future customer datacenters, influencing industry best practices. Exposure to cutting-edge AI infrastructure at scale, including high-performance compute clusters and next-gen hardware. Hands-on experience working at the intersection of engineering, architecture, and operations in a rapidly evolving AI landscape. Compensation for all engineers at Tenstorrent ranges from $100k - $500k including base and variable compensation targets.
