Amphenol is a leading manufacturer of interconnect products with a global footprint. The role leads global procurement, planning, and logistics operations and works with cross-functional teams to align with corporate objectives and production needs. Travel up to 40–50% internationally and domestically will be required. Key Responsibilities Procurement Strategy & KPI Management: Develop and lead a global procurement strategy across sourcing, outsourcing management, and indirect material purchasing; define and manage procurement KPIs; lead monthly performance reviews and drive continuous improvement. Purchasing Process Control & Cost Management: Oversee supplier selection, RFQs, price negotiations, contract execution, and performance evaluations; implement cost-control measures and lead annual supplier cost‑down initiatives with Engineering and Project Management. Contract Negotiation & Compliance: Review and approve supplier contracts; mitigate supply chain risks with Legal and Compliance; ensure purchasing activities comply with internal policies, financial controls, and international trade laws. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Support: Partner with Project Management (NPI), Quality Assurance, Operations and Buyers to address delivery, logistics, and lead-time challenges; promote alignment across business units and regional operations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field; MBA or Master’s preferred. Minimum 10 years of progressive supply chain experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Direct experience managing suppliers and procurement operations in China. Proven track record in global procurement strategy, cost control, supplier relationship management, and contract negotiation. Strong purchasing operations experience (direct and indirect materials); proficient with ERP systems and procurement tools. Excellent analytical, decision-making, and negotiation skills; strong leadership and cross-cultural communication abilities. Willingness and ability to travel up to 40–50% internationally and domestically. Supply chain certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) are highly desirable. Why Work for Us?
