2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants Job Description Oracle Canadian Public Sector is looking for a highly experienced SaaS presales Solution Consultant (SC) to apply the knowledge of Financials across Provincial, Municipal, and Higher Education customers. As a member of the Sales Consulting Team you would be responsible for formulating and leading presales functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Typical activities include developing and delivering high quality Oracle presentations and demonstrations; presenting and articulating advanced product features, benefits, product future direction, and overall Oracle solutions; close collaboration with the product Development organization; acting as a functional expert for less experienced SCs; and developing trusted advisor relationships with critical stakeholders to expand our base of referenceable customers. Overview This is a full time, strategic, presales role working with Financial/Procurement and IT decision makers, as well as the functional end-users evaluating Oracle solutions for their enterprise applications’ needs The right person must be able to effectively communicate and engage with audiences regarding business challenges, mapping them to Oracle’s enterprise applications solutions Extensive software training will be provided as needed Responsibilities As an Oracle presales Solution Consultant, you will partner directly with the sales team to present and sell Oracle SaaS solutions to our customers. This is not a quota carrying sales role and does not involve any outbound or inbound sales prospecting; however, it does involve the ability to influence decision makers regarding their business applications, and the ability to act as an Oracle advocate during client interactions. As a solution consultant, you help customers realize the transformative value of AI-powered Oracle Fusion Financials and Procurement. By showcasing how embedded AI automates repetitive tasks, freeing up staff for more strategic work. Highlight how Oracle solutions are helping customers make proactive, data-driven decisions. Ultimately, you empower customers to drive efficiency, reduce risk, and achieve better business outcomes through next-generation financial and procurement solutions. Ability to conceptualize and implement the most advanced product features. Thorough knowledge of system and application design. In depth knowledge of competitors. Demonstrated project management skills. Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication. Ability to travel as needed. BA/BS degree or equivalent, advanced degree highly desirable. Qualifications Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only CA: Hiring Range in CAD from: $77,600 - $144,100 per year. Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. Career Level - IC3 This role regularly interacts with customers, prospects and partners across North America, so a professional level of English is required. A proficiency of French is required for candidates residing in Quebec, otherwise it is considered an asset.
